YUANN is a film director and photographer born in Shanghai and currently based in Tokyo, whose work is deeply shaped by his multicultural background. He began his career as a graphic designer before evolving into an art director, and later transitioned into filmmaking nearly seven years ago. This strong visual foundation eventually led him to establish the Tokyo-based creative studio Kidzfrmnowhere.

Renowned for crafting immersive and visually striking worlds, YUANN has developed a distinctive creative voice across both film and photography. His work seamlessly blends cultural sensitivity with a bold visual language, resulting in compelling and dynamic storytelling. Over the years, he has collaborated with leading global brands such as Louis Vuitton, Zara, Gucci, Nike, Shiseido, Gentle Monster, and Ambush.

His signature style is characterized by vibrant imagery, rapid montage editing, and a powerful sense of visual narrative.
